Hi! Can Disney Giftcards be used to pay for meal at crystal palace? Can they also be used at stores & vendors inside the parks, specifically magic kingdom.

    Hello there, Rachel!

A warm welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with a Tigger-iffic Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. It looks like your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is approaching very quickly - hip, hip, hooray! Before you head over to Magic Kingdom Park for a delightful dining experience with Winnie the Pooh and friends, let's think, think, think about accepted methods of payment at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Rachel, I'm thrilled to hear you'll be enjoying a meal with everyone's favorite Hundred-Acre Wood friends during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My son and I scheduled breakfast at The Crystal Palace on our Disney Resort hotel check-out day this past week, and sharing hugs with Winnie the Pooh and pals was the perfect way to cap off our wonderful trip. Rachel, I'm happy to inform you that you'll be welcome to pay for your meal at The Crystal Palace using a Disney Gift Card. (In fact, I did just that during our recent visit, so I can confidently confirm that this information is up-to-date!)

As a fellow Guest who likes to use Disney Gift Cards for food and merchandise purchases during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I'm glad to share that these handy cards are accepted as a method of payment at most locations throughout the property, including at Magic Kingdom Park. I've successfully used Disney Gift Cards to make purchases all throughout The Most Magical Place on Earth, including at the Disney Resort hotels, theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. Rachel, while you can't store a Disney Gift Card as a saved method of payment in the My Disney Experience app, you can still use it by entering the card details (or scanning the barcode on the back of the card) at the time of checkout. I utilize Disney Gift Cards for almost all of my mobile food and beverage orders and merchandise mobile checkout purchases.

Rachel, I hope you've found this information helpful as you prepare for a "Friendship Day Celebration" with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore. (If you'll be enjoying the bountiful breakfast buffet on your upcoming visit, don't skip the Mickey-shaped Churro Waffles... I've been dreaming about them ever since we left Magic Kingdom Park!) If you have any additional planning questions, feel free to stop back by our Thotful Spot, here at planDisney. We're here to help you and your friends make special memories together!

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
