Hi Moms! Can I use Disney Giftcards to pay for tips at the table service restauarants at Disney World? We have the dining plan but also saved up quite a few Disney Giftcards and are hoping this is allowed. Thanks!!!!

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mark!

You must be so excited about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World!

Planning so much in advance, such as booking your Table Service dining experiences, selecting a Disney Dining Plan and saving up Disney Gift Cards along the way will help make your trip so much more magical; well done!

Disney Gift Cards are accepted at most dining locations (with the exception of some non-Disney owned and operated kiosks), so you'll be able to use yours to pay for gratuities when you dine. Keep in mind, too, that you don't need to bring your Disney Gift Cards with you each day, should you wish to avoid heavy pockets or the chance of losing them while touring. Instead, use your MagicBand to charge everything to your room if you have associated a credit card with that room. When you check in, confirm the dollar amount at which your credit card will be charged during your stay, and plan to use your Disney Gift Cards on that balance prior to hitting that amount. Once you've charged a day or two of expenses, head to the front desk at your resort and ask them to apply the value of your Disney Gift Cards to your balance.  When the rest of the family is changing for dinner, enjoying a few more moments at the pool or are staying in for a cozy night of Disney movies and snacks, take your Disney Gift Cards from your in-room safe to the front desk and pay down your balance. So easy!

Send more questions as you plan, Mark; we love to help!
