Disney gift cards are my current collectible must-have. I use them to pay for our theme park tickets and pay on our reservation before we arrive at the resort. I also pack a few extra to have on hand once we arrive on property.
So, yes! Disney gift cards can be used throughout Walt Disney World. This includes all of the resorts, in each theme park, water park, miniature golf locations and at Disney Springs. Paying for your meal at any Trattoria on Disney's Boardwalk or buying that last minute souvenir at the Emporium at the Magic Kingdom, Disney gift cards can be used.
Katie, there are a few food and souvenir carts around each theme park that do not accept Disney gift cards. Before your make your purchase, just ask the Cast Member there to be sure if Disney gift cards are accepted.
