Can a Disney giftcard be used in the theme park in a NON Disney owned restaurant such as Space 220?

    Welcome to planDisney, Diane!

I’m so excited to hear that you’ll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth next year! What a wonderful adventure you’re going to have!

You’ll be happy to know that almost every restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort (and Disney Springs) accepts Disney Gift Cards! Many of these restaurants are not specifically “Disney Owned” such as Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs, and I have had no problem paying this way during my vacations!

I am assuming that, because Space 220 will be located in EPCOT, you will have no troubles paying with a Disney Gift Card when it opens soon! (This is just an assumption, so be sure to watch the Disney Parks Blog for additional updates and further information.)

One of my favorite ways to get Disney Gift Cards is online! The Disney Gift Card eGifts are my favorite, and so convenient to use in the parks! I’d recommend considering using your mobile device for your Gift Cards!

If you have additional questions before your trip, Diane, we’d love to hear from you again at planDisney!

I truly believe that dreams come true, and I look forward to sharing that magic with you!
