    I have a Disney giftcard that says "merchandise credit" on the front of it. I would like to know if it would be accepted at WDW restuarants for payment ? Great Panel here I've learned so much from you all.

    Hi Brian!

    Thank  you so much and anytime you have a question, please don't hesitate to visit!  Normally, Disney gift cards can be used just about anywhere at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Store retail location or online.  For Disney gift cards that have "Merchandise Credit" stated on the card, they can be used for merchandise only.  While you can still use them at Walt Disney World to purchase merchandise at Disney owned retail locations, it cannot be used for payments at restaurants or paying on a resort reservation as with the regular gift card.  A merchandise credit gift card is usually issued for merchandise that has been returned either online or at a retail location.
