Can Disney Gift Cards be used as a tip to a waiter or waitress. For instance if I have a $50.00 card and the bill is $40, can i just leave the whole card and the server will get that as a tip?

    Hi Brian!

Great question!  Thank you for bringing it to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney gift cards are a great way to save up for your Walt Disney World vacation in advance.  I always stock up on them in small increments throughout the year, and this way we have money saved to use on our trips.

You can use your gift card to include the tip at restaurants.  In that situation, you could always write in the $10 tip on the receipt and then leave your card to cover it.  Or, you can tell your server in advance what you want the tip to be, and they can include it when you pay.  We have done this before and every server may have a different way/recommendation for doing it, but it should be no problem!

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions!
