    Can Disney gift cards be used for purchasing meals while in the Disney parks? I have a few Disney gift cards and want to make sure I can use those to eat, whether at a quick stop meal or sit down dinner in the park.

    Hi Amanda! Oh my goodness! In 5 short days, you will be at Walt Disney World Resort! How exciting!!

    You can pay for meals (quick service and table service) when you are in the theme parks. 

    I have another suggestion for you if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel. If you don't want to carry around all of your gift cards, you can apply them to your room charge. Drop by the front desk a few days into your vacation and the Cast Member will credit your account using your gift cards.  

    Using the gift cards in the parks is absolutely fine. I just prefer the other method because it's less to keep track of throughout the day. (What's my balance? Is there enough to include the tip? Where did I put the gift card? Etc.) I love the convenience of charging everything to my MagicBand. Disney gift cards are a standard gift in our home so we typically take several with us. Applying them to our room charge at the lobby front desk has been practically perfect in every way!
