Hi Crystal!
Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We absolutely love it when our longtime friends come back to visit and 'talk Disney.' Are you getting excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation?
Yes, you can absolutely use
Disney Gift Cards to purchase a variety of
food options, including but not limited to, both Table and Quick service meals, snacks from confectionary counters, adult beverages from the food kitchens around Epcot's World Showcase, and more. These cards can buy emergency S'mores supplies from the grocery section of your
Disney Resort Hotel gift shop so your family can enjoy a DIY snack around a
campfire. You can even use a Disney Gift Card to pay the gratuity portion of a sit-down meal that was charged to a
Disney Dining Plan.
My favorite use of a Disney Gift Card is by paying off my
MagicBand charges. Guests of a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel are able to charge anything from food to souvenirs to a credit card linked back their MagicBands. These charges don't officially hit your credit card until you've reached one lump charge limit, or until you check-out, which ever is first. You're welcome to stop by the front desk of your resort hotel every few days to pay down or pay off this balance with your Disney Gift Cards, which I much rather prefer because it's less to keep up with while having fun in the parks.
I hope this helped in your planning, Crystal, and We'll See You Real Soon!
