Disney Gift Cards - Can they be used at any and all eating establishments around WDW? I see that the DDP in 2016 is reducing a lot of the restaurants and wondered if these establishments won't take a Disney Gift Card anymore also. THANKS!

Hi Kelly,

We love using a Disney Gift Card when paying for our meals. It's a great way to budget out our money for meals and make sure we have lots of room left for fun souvenirs. You'll find the majority of dining locations will accept the Disney Gift Card as payment. There are only a handful which won't, like those at non-Walt Disney World Resort hotels such as the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts.

Also, the 2016 Disney Dining Plan brochure will update as we get closer to the new year. Many times, restaurants aren't placed on the list until the last minute. Be sure to keep checking back for updates as your trip gets closer.
