    What can disney gift cards be used for during my trip? Specifically, can they be used in Disney restaurants? Is there anything that they cannot be used for?

    Hi, there!

     Sarah, your magical vacation is just a few short weeks away. I'm sure you're counting down the days with anticipation - how exciting!

     I just love having a few Disney Gift Cards tucked inside my Mickey Mouse wallet when I'm visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Gift Cards can be used on nearly everything, everywhere on property! You can use them to pay for theme park tickets, annual passes, Resort hotel stays, merchandise, dining, recreation, spa experiences, and theme park parking. My family has used Disney Gift Cards to pay for many meals at Quick-Service and Table-Service dining locations. It's so convenient, we've even been able to pay our tips with Disney Gift Cards! 

     There are just a few places throughout the Walt Disney World Resort that do not accept Disney Gift Cards. Vendors who only accept cash and third-party vendors are usually the only exceptions. Generally, if the location is owned and operated by Disney and accepts credit cards, you can bet that they'll accept Disney Gift Cards! 

     During my family's last vacation, I used Disney Gift Cards to pay down the balance of the charges that were made to our room with our MagicBands. Every day or two, I'd visit the Front Desk to make a payment with the Disney Gift Cards before my credit card on file was charged. It was super easy to take care of!
