Can disney gift cards be used at Disney Springs Area Resorts? To be more specific, would I be able to use Disney gift cards to pay charges from magicbands at these resorts? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Lauryn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for reaching out to us hEAR with this great Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question!

MagicBands are a super fun way to keep all of the aspects of your trip to Mickey's house easily accessible without needing to dig through a bag all day or risk a ticket falling out of a wallet, etc. For every guest, no matter where they choose to stay, a MagicBand will serve as your Disney Theme Park admission ticket, link back to any attraction or show reservations you have scheduled, and is I think the easiest way to collect any PhotoPass pictures you take. Only guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel have the bonus benefits of being able to use their MagicBands to unlock their hotel room door as well as make charges to their bands. (This is because the payment card associated with the band is technically on file at the Disney Resort Hotel and not the band itself.)

Something awesome that you can now do with your Disney Gift Cards is load them into your My Disney Experience Mobile App for use with Mobile Food and Beverage Orders. First make sure that you have the latest version of your app. Then when you're ordering, after the 'Order Summary' screen, you'll see a place where you can enter a Disney Gift Card as a method of payment.

I hope that this helped a bit, Lauryn, and if you have any more questions We're All Ears!
