Hi there, Heather. Welcome to planDisney.
O-M-Goofy, Heather, you have me smiling from Mickey ear to Mickey ear because from the sound of your question, you have some serious magic up your sleeves. You've come to the right place to ask this question. Like Mrs. Potts, you and I are all about saving money, even if it's "just a little change, small to say the least." And purchasing Disney Gift Cards from third-party stores at a discounted price is a perfect way to save money.
This is something I do often, and I'm happy to report that you can absolutely purchase either
theme park tickets or an Annual Pass with a Disney Gift Card bought from either the Disney website or another store. Once you've added your theme park tickets or Annual Pass to your cart, you'll see an option to select a Disney Gift Card as your payment method during checkout. If you encounter any issues or wish to use multiple gift cards, I recommend calling the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations number. If you're like me and have a lot of gift cards, you'll want to combine them into one amount. Currently, Disney Gift Cards can hold a maximum value of $1,000. To consolidate your gift cards, visit
disneygiftcard.com. On the website, you can choose one of your cards to serve as your "primary" card and transfer funds from your other gift cards to this primary card.
Heather, since we're talking about saving money, I want to make sure you have the link to the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page, and, just in case you decide to purchase that Annual Pass, I want to give you the link to the
Passholder Offers & Perks. Not only does my Annual Pass allow me into the parks for fun, but I also enjoy discounts on special event tickets, merchandise, and even Resort hotels.
I hope this information helps. Feel free to stop by and visit us anytime. Have so much fun on your upcoming trip, and be sure to follow us on
Instagram for more helpful tips. It's been my pleasure to chat with you, Heather.
Happy planning,
Shonette
