Can I use Disney gift cards purchased from sams club or etc to pay for theme park tickets? If I do will I get some type of savings - or is this a myth I’ve read about. “Using gift cards to pay for theme park tickets will give you X% off” Thanks! :)

    Hi Samaria,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

If there's something I love to do on a regular basis (besides visiting the Walt Disney World Resort as much as possible), it's saving money.  If you purchase discounted Disney gift cards at your local warehouse club, you absolutely can use them to pay for your theme park tickets, your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room, most Walt Disney World Resort restaurants (there may be a few in Disney Springs that do not accept Disney gift cards, so be sure to ask before you order), spa experiences, merchandise and recreation at the Walt Disney World Resort.  I have personally used discounted gift cards in each one of these locations without any issues.

One of the things I love about the Disney Gift Card website is the ability to combine gift cards of any denomination onto one card that can have a value of up to $1,000.  I recently used gift cards to pay the remaining balance for a Disney Cruise Line cruise and was thankful that I had combined the gift cards first!

Samaria, please come back and see us with any additional questions!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
