Hiya Isabelle,
Welcome to planDisney! There is one thing I never leave home without when I visit the Most Magical Place on Earth: a
Disney Gift Card. From the moment we book our vacations, we start purchasing and storing away as many as possible to use on tickets, dining, merchandise, and more.
Now let me start by saying, Isabelle, that the specific locations that accept Disney Gift Cards are subject to change. However, in my experience, you can use Disney Gift Cards at table service locations (including signature dining) and quick service locations. In fact, I used a Disney Gift Card to pay for my birthday dinner at
Victoria and Albert’s last year! I’ve also used a Disney Gift Card to pay for
Mobile Food Ordering and at the checkout in person at my resort hotel (including Pop Century Resort). Since there is no official list of locations that
accept Disney Gift Cards, before I place my order at any dining location, I always ask the Cast Member if they take my card to be on the safe side.
I hope this was helpful, Isabelle! Before I let you go, I mentioned using Disney Gift Cards on your My Disney Experience mobile app for mobile food ordering. I’m not sure how much experience you have doing this, but I wanted to share a quick tip. Unfortunately, your Disney Gift Card details cannot be stored within the mobile app like a credit/debit card. Each time you want to use a Disney Gift Card for purchases, you must manually input the card details. One way to speed up your transaction is to type your Disney Gift Card number in the notes section of your mobile device and then copy and paste the numbers when it is time to make a payment.
Happy Planning!
