I want to use Disney gift cards to purchase meals at quick service and snack restaurants, places that do not usually require a tip. Do Disney Gift cards automatically add a preset percentage for a tip to food purchases? Thank you.

    Hi Lu Ann!

We love using Disney Gift Cards to pay for things on our trips.  I try to stock up on them throughout the year, and my family and friends know that they are always the perfect gift for me!

When you use a Disney Gift Card for purchases, they will not add a tip.  You can use the cards just as you would use cash.  For quick-service and snacks, you won't even have to sign the receipt.  You will be able to see your remaining balance on the receipt, though, so don't throw it away until you look.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your trip.
