    Can we use Disney gift cards to place as money down when we get on board the ship?

    Hi, Audrey!

    Why yes, you can use Disney Gift Cards as payment for your shipboard account once you're on a Disney ship.  Simply stop by Guest Services to apply your gift card to your account once you're on board.

    I'll also give you a little helpful hint based on my past experiences. You'll want to do this as soon as possible once you're on board and preferably while you're still in port since the connectivity is best in ports.  Therefore, the transaction most likely will work quickly, and you won't have to keep checking back with Guest Services to make sure your gift card was applied.
