Using the
My Disney Experience App to manage plans before, and especially during your visit will afford you many helpful options to maximize your visit, and
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering is one fantastic example! At this time you are able to add the
Disney Gift Card as a form of payment,
only during your check-out after your mobile order has been created, and here is how to add the Disney Gift Card to pay for your mobile order.
1) Open the My Disney Experience App and select the
Feature Menu on the bottom right of the screen,
2) On your
Welcome Donna page, please select the
Mobile Food Order tile,
3) Select either the blue “+” sign or tap on the
Create New Order button,
4) Peruse the list of available venues and select your preferred dining location and the available time of pick-up,
5) Select the
Review Order Summary and then select
Payment Method,
6) In the
Payment Method section you will see the option to
Add a Card where you can enter the Disney Gift Card ID and then proceed through payment and confirmation. (I like to copy my Disney Gift Card ID number into my mobile device Notes App to then copy and paste the card ID number into the
Add a Card section easily).
Tips:For general
vacation essential app transactions on your Disney account and on the My Disney Experience App, you are able to store up to 6 credit cards to your Disney account when making select website and select app purchases for such things as
Disney Dining Reservations,
Disney PhotoPass purchases,
Mobile Food & Beverage Orders, select ticket and pass purchases and merchandise purchases on shopDisney using the Shop Disney Parks App.
I also enjoy the convenience of purchasing a
Disney Gift Card eGift, which I am able to store in my digital wallet on my mobile device for general purchases or merchandise and food during my visits.
