Hi there, Lisa! Sending you a very warm welcome to planDisney!
Imagine this: you’re standing beneath the twinkling lights of the
Disneyland Hotel, Mickey-shaped beignets in hand, knowing your magical stay is already taken care of—all thanks to those trusty
Disney Gift Cards! It’s such a delightful way to make your dreams at the Happiest Place on Earth come true, and I’m happy to share that yes, you can absolutely use Disney Gift Cards to pay for your reservation at a Disneyland Resort hotel!
If you’re booking online, keep in mind that only one Disney Gift Card can be applied per transaction. For that reason, I’d recommend combining your cards into one super-powered gift card before completing your reservation. To do this, visit the
Disney Gift Card website, click “My Cards” at the top of the page, and sign in using your Disney account. From there, you can add each of your individual cards by selecting “Add A Card” and entering their details. Once they all appear in your account, you’ll see an option to transfer multiple balances onto a single card—up to $1,000 total. This makes the process simple and seamless. If you prefer not to combine your balances, or if your total exceeds the transaction limit, you can also call the
Disneyland Resort Hotel Reservations line, where a helpful Cast Member will be happy to assist with applying multiple gift cards toward your stay.
And the magic doesn’t stop there, Lisa! Your Disney Gift Cards can unlock so many other enchanting experiences throughout the Disneyland Resort. You can use them to purchase your
theme park tickets, treat yourself to something delicious at nearly all quick-service and table-service restaurants—like
Carnation Café or
Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland Park, or
Lamplight Lounge and
Wine Country Trattoria in Disney California Adventure Park—and even at many carts and kiosks for snacks on the go. Over at the
Downtown Disney District, they’re perfect for indulging in a shopping spree at
World of Disney or
The D-Lander Shop (a must-visit for merchandise fans!).
Inside the parks, your card is equally handy for souvenirs and keepsakes—whether you’re browsing the
Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., or exploring
Elias & Co. on Buena Vista Street for stylish apparel and seasonal treasures. No matter where you use it, your Disney Gift Card keeps the magic right at your fingertips.
So, there you have it, Lisa! Here’s to a visit brimming with laughter, fireworks, and a little extra pixie dust around every corner. I hope each swipe of your Disney Gift Card unlocks another chapter of your happily-ever-after adventure!
See ya real soon!
