Can I use Disney gift cards to pay for my hotel?

Hello Ashleigh! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When I travel through Walt Disney World Resort and not scanning purchases on my MagicBand, I will often put my money on a Disney Gift Card for the ease and convenience of having all of my money on one card.

When you book reservations for a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel online, you have the option to pay using a Disney Gift Card through the Shopping Cart. Simply scroll down to the payment options (below the shipping information for a credit card) and select to add your Disney Gift Card number. The funds will be transferred to your payment.

If you have more than the amount required on your Disney Gift Card, the remaining funds will be kept on your Card for future use. If you still have an outstanding balance, it will be processed through your posted credit card according to the terms and conditions of your agreement.

Be sure to stop by Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park during your visit and say "Hey Howdy Hey" to Woody and the gang in Toy Story Land. You may want to bring any Disney Gift Cards you have left over to purchase your very own slinky dog ears for the experience.

    Have a Magical Visit!
