    Can we use Disney gift cards to pay for our gratuities and our excursion at the Disney private island?

    Hi Matthew!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you've booked a Disney Cruise to paradise! Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, is my favorite port of call! I love to read a good book while relaxing on the beach under a palm tree. Be sure to enjoy the delicious barbecue lunch on the island, too!

    You may absolutely use Disney Gift Cards to pay for additional charges made during your Disney Cruise, such as Port Adventures and gratuities! When you arrive onboard, just bring your Disney Gift Cards to the Guest Services Desk and they will add them to your stateroom account as credit. During the Online Check-in process, Guests typically place a credit card on file for onboard charges. Any charges made during your cruise that exceed the amount of credit applied from the gift cards will then be charged to the credit card on file!

    There are so many exciting Port Adventures to choose from on Castaway Cay! I love booking the Snorkel Lagoon Equipment Rentals and spending the morning discovering all the wonders under the sea in the snorkeling lagoon off Castaway Cay's Family Beach.
