    Can I use Disney gift cards to pay for my Disney dining plan?

    Hi Shelly!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  The Disney Dining Plan has to be purchased as part of a package, meaning a room and park tickets.  Everything has to be paid in full before you arrive at Walt Disney World.  However, you can use a Disney gift card to pay off your package.  I have done it several times before myself.  However, I have done it through an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and not online.  An Authorized Disney Vacation Planner is a travel agent who specializes in trips to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, onboard the Disney Cruise Line, or with Adventures by Disney.
