Hi there, Elizabeth!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! With your Disney Cruise Line vacation coming up soon, I know you are getting excited! Sooner than you think, you will be heading off to sea for a journey you won’t soon forget!
You can certainly use Disney Gift Cards onboard! In order to use them to pay for items that are charged to your stateroom account such as excursions,
gratuities and bar service tabs, you will want to take the gift cards to Guest Services to have them applied to your account. Gift cards can be used in the onboard
gift shops, but for any other incidental charges, you will swipe your Key to the World card and charge directly to your account. You will still be asked to provide a credit card when you check-in, but you can definitely use gift card funds to pay down the account at the end of the trip!
Speaking of excursions, I am sure you have already been exploring all the amazing offerings
Port Adventures has for your itinerary! They really pick the best of the best opportunities available and ensure that you have an amazing experience by handling all aspects of the time onshore. Your biggest decision is just which one to choose! I recommend booking your excursions when your Online Check-In and booking window opens to ensure you get the one you want; unfortunately there have been too many times that I have waited and missed an opportunity, so I recommend doing so beforehand!
You are going to have just the BEST time on your Disney Cruise! What can go wrong when you’re onboard with Captain Mickey?!?
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
