I have 3 disney gift cards that I have not used (they are prob 5-7 yrs old. I would like to redeem them for tickets for an upcoming trip in Jan 2024.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Frank!

Thanks for stopping by with a great Walt Disney World Resort planning question. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! It sounds like you'll be making a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth next month. Your countdown is almost over, Frank! I'd be glad to help you understand how to use your Disney Gift Cards toward Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets.

Disney Gift Cards are always at the top of my holiday wish list, Frank. Not only can they be used on merchandise from shopDisney and snacks in the theme parks, but they can also be used to purchase tickets to our favorite Disney Parks! When purchasing theme park tickets on the Walt Disney World Resort website, only one Disney Gift Card can be applied to the transaction, so you'll need to consolidate your three cards into one for this purpose. To do this, visit the Disney Gift Card website and log into your Disney account. Select the "My Cards" tab and then tap "Add a Card." Add the details for each of your three gift cards, then choose one of the cards to transfer the balance onto (up to $1,000) using the "Transfer Funds To This Card" function.

Frank, as a Florida resident, you may be eligible for several fantastic special offers throughout the year! When purchasing your tickets, be sure to log into your Disney account on the Walt Disney World Resort website to view special pricing and available offers exclusive to Florida residents. You might also consider becoming an Annual Passholder, as Florida residents can utilize the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program. I encourage you to map out the costs of theme park tickets vs. an Annual Pass to determine which option would work best for you.

I hope this information helps you to prepare for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort adventure, Frank! I wish you many magical moments in the theme parks. If you have any additional questions, feel free to stop back by planDisney again anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,
