    Can you use disney gift cards for meals

    Hi Sharon!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Disney Gift Cards are the perfect fit for any Disney-bound traveler ready to enjoy a vacation where Magic is Endless!

    While I am on vacation, I often transfer my American money onto Disney Gift Cards for convenience and they are accepted for most of the things I require while on vacation at Walt Disney World Resort.  Wherever you choose to shop, dine or enjoy recreational activities, you can use your official Disney Gift Card as payment.

    Basically Sharon, as long as you are dining at a restaurant on Walt Disney World Resort property, you can use your Disney Gift Card.

    If you are feeling peckish around Disney Springs, I heartily recommend my last lunch experience (paid for on a Disney Gift Card) which included a succulent offering from the aptly named D-Luxe Burger and for dessert, a gourmet cupcake from Sprinkles bakery just a hop, skip and a jump away.

    If the Disney Gift Card is particularly generous and you are looking for a more up-scale dining experience, my favorite meal on Walt Disney World Resort property is a toss-up between the Wagyu Strip Loin and Braised Short Rib at Tiffins in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park or the Braised Beef at Be Our Guest restaurant in Magic Kingdom.

    Well Sharon, now I'm hungry!  Perhaps I'll dig up a Disney Gift Card and join you!
