Hiya Corrine! Welcome to planDisney!
I see that your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is in just a few weeks! What an exciting time! I'm sure you're finalizing your planning, but before you know it, you'll be indulging in some delicious Mickey-shaped waffles and watching Goofy & Friends dance around
Goofy's Kitchen!
Unfortunately,
Disney Gift Cards cannot be loaded and stored in the
Disneyland Mobile App. However, that doesn't mean you can't use them to pay for things like
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering. If you have a physical gift card, it is likely best to bring it along with you. When you get to the checkout portion of your Mobile Food and Beverage Order, tap the option at the very bottom of the screen labeled "Use a Different Payment Method." Click "Add a Card" and toggle the option for "Disney Gift Card or Disney Dining Card" and scan the barcode or input the 16-digit card number manually.
When using an e-gift card, I like to type the number into a note on my phone, so I can easily copy and paste it when Mobile Ordering. Additionally, I often store the card in my Apple Wallet or similar storage on my phone, so if I choose to use it when shopping or dining in-person, it is easily accessible for the Cast Member to scan at checkout.
Corrine, I also wanted to point out that your visit to Disneyland Resort times up with the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. I am a self-proclaimed Disney-foodie, so I especially love festivals like these that allow me to try delicious bites at all different
Festival Marketplaces during my day in the park! I hope you can check it out!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
