Can you use disney gift cards at disney springs restaurants/shops?

    Hi Katie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I absolutely love using Disney Gift Cards as a way to stay on track, budget-wise, during my visits to Walt Disney World Resort. Because of that, I’ve used them in several different places and I’m happy to say that most restaurants and several retailers at Disney Springs do accept Disney Gift Cards as payment.

While some of the “brand name” (i.e. non-Disney) stores and smaller kiosks may not accept them, I was pleasantly surprised that several of them do accept Disney Gift Cards as payment. Plus, many stores also allow Guests to use MagicBand’s charging privileges, if they’re currently staying in a Disney Resort Hotel

My advice to you would be to have a backup payment system on hand, just in case your Disney Gift Cards aren’t an acceptable form of payment while you're shopping.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
