Disney gift cards. 1) Can I use Disney gift cards to pay towards my camping reservation? 2) Are the Disney gift cards that available in Canada usable in the USA? (Or do I just purchase in Michigan in order to save on a possible increasing exchange rate?

    Hi Kristina,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question.

You can absolutely use a Disney Gift Card to pay for your upcoming stay at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. You can use them to pay for almost everything at Walt Disney World Resort!

As for the Disney Gift Cards that can be purchased in Canada, they can be used at the Disney Parks just like ones purchased in the United States. The only difference is that you’ll have to pay the the day’s exchange rate when  you do redeem them. If you want to know exactly how much money you’ll have to spend during your next vacation (and to protect yourself against the vagaries of the fluctuating exchange rate), it might be better to purchase a series of USD Disney Gift Cards.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,
