Can i use disney gift cards bought in the UK at disney parks in florida? Also how does the currency work with the pound and dollar? Thank you

    Hi Charlene!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Any Disney Store Gift Cards purchased in the Disney Store in the UK can only be redeemed in the UK Disney Stores.  These Gift Cards cannot be used at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, and may only be used to purchase goods and/or services sold at UK Disney Stores, and may not be used at any other retail outlet or on disneystore.co.uk or any other website, and full terms & conditions can be seen here.

You can, however, purchase US Dollar Disney Gift Cards on the official website here, and can have them emailed to you for use during your holiday at Walt Disney World Resort, where most Disney-owned stores and restaurants across the whole Resort, including select locations at Disney Springs, will accept them as payment, or part-payment.  You can also use them at Disney Resort hotels and they can be used to settle your hotel room account.  The conversion of GBP to US$ takes place at the time of purchase so your Disney Gift Card will have a US Dollar value to be used as cash while you are in the United States at Walt Disney World Resort.  You may also top-up your card, or check the balance of your card, here.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday!
