Hey, Marta, and welcome to planDisney where we have magical solutions to enchanted questions about your Disney vacation.
Yes, you may use your
Disney Gift Card to make purchases anywhere on Disney property except for balloon vendors which are cash-only. We have paid for table service experience, churros, souvenirs, and even our
Disney Resorts Collection hotel folio. Be sure to register your Disney Gift Card online in case it gets misplaced. Another advantage of registering is that Disney Gift Card balances may be transferred between gift cards to consolidate (the current maximum is $1000). I am so happy there is an easy way to
combine gift card balances so I do not have random dollars and cents hanging out on a gift card and I do not need to carry a stack of gift cards around.
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White was one of the best and most entertaining meals I have experienced at Walt Disney World Resort. When your server brings you the check just hand them the Disney Gift Card and a credit card to cover the balance if the gift card value is not enough. You are going to have a blast. Don't be bothered by Grumpy's facial expression, I promise, he really is excited to see you.
planDisney Pro Tip: Always keep an empty Disney Gift Card registered online just in case you do need to transfer the balance of a lost gift card and be sure to take the empty one with you on your trip. You may also
charge your meal on a MagicBand connected to your
My Disney Experience account if you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. At the end of your stay, you may visit the front desk and use your Disney Gift Card towards the folio balance.
Marta, it has been a pleasure to help you. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
