Greetings, and welcome to
planDisney, Katrin.
You’re sailing
Disney Cruise Line’s – Disney Magic at Sea, congratulations! Oh goodness, how excited you must be as nothing beats the feeling of knowing that you can
Book your Disney Cruise with Confidence to sail with
Mickey and Friends to enjoy many unique and magical experiences at sea!
Katrin, using your
Disney Gift Card – eGift is a great way to plan for and manage your Disney vacation budget. I, too, have my Disney Gift Card – eGift(s) loaded on my digital wallet on my mobile device. To pay for purchases charged to my Disney Cruise Line stateroom folio, I find it easier to drop in every few days to clear my charges using my Disney Gift Card - eGift. It involves accessing the eGift card from my digital wallet and presenting it to the
Guest Services Cast Member who documents the card ID number. To keep track of my Disney Gift Card – eGift balance, I sign into my
Disney Gift Card account to see the balance and re-load the card if necessary – which in my case, it usually is necessary, much to my husband’s chagrin!
Of importance to note, Katrin, through my experience, when paying for items using the Disney Gift Card – eGift directly from my digital wallet, is that the original opening purchased balance amount remains displayed,
regardless of subsequent charges. At this point, on the digital wallet side of things, the visible amount displayed on the card doesn’t change,
even though the actual, true balance does as you charge to the eGift card. Therefore, I continuously monitor my remaining balance via my Disney Gift Card account.
Tips:Download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to manage your plans before and during your sailing – I love the vacation countdowns and the many helpful features available during my sailing!
Katrin, please refer to
Disney Cruise Line’s – Know Before You Sail resource in preparation for your sailing, as important information changes continuously. You
During your
Magic at Sea sailing, you can book a future cruise with
Disney Cruise Line Onboard-Only Offer via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, or by visiting the Onboard Sales Desk, Deck 4, Midship – but do so near the beginning of your sailing, as lines tend to be longer closer to the end of your voyage.
Katrin, it was my great pleasure assisting you today. Please feel free to sail back over to planDisney for more first-hand advice, we are always here for you!
See Ya Real Soon!Jacqueline
