    Can Disney gift cards be added to our account using the My Disney Experience app? Am I able to add a designated amount of spending money to my son's Magicband?

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Making purchases using a MagicBand is pretty fun, if I do say so myself. I would have loved using one when I was a child!

    Adding a Disney Gift Card to your My Disney Experience account is not a feature that is available. However, when you check-in to your Disney Resort Hotel, you may set a spending limit for your son's MagicBand. He will need to choose and remember a PIN to use the MagicBand to make purchases so keep that in mind.

    If you wish to use a Disney Gift Card to pay his charges, you may stop by the Front Desk at any time throughout your trip and apply it to his charges. Or you can have them charged to the credit card on file at your Resort.
