I have some Disney gift cards and want to be able to use them when I am staying at the Grand Californian,I understand that you need to have credit card on file when you check in but how do I go about using my gift cards to pay for resort balance?

    Hello Karey!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week!

If you would like to pay your resort balance with gift cards, simply talk to a Cast Member at the hotel when you check in. You will put a credit card on file but when you check out can give them the gift cards to pay the remaining balance. At least that is how I’ve done it in the past. The Cast Members are very helpful and can walk you through the process when you check in.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you are planning your visit.

    See you real soon!
