Hi there, Vianey! Happy New Year, and thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your Disney gift card question!
Disney gift cards are a convenient, easy, and fast way to purchase and pay for almost anything throughout Disney parks and resorts! You can use them for practically anything – from
sit-down and quick-service dining to snacks and even merchandise. You can also use them for
park admission tickets,
hotel rooms,
spa treatments, and recreation activities. There’s so much you can do with them – like a treasure chest of possibilities – so let your conscience be your guide!
However, just a heads-up: not all outdoor carts or vendors may accept Disney gift cards, so it's always a good idea to ask a cast member before purchasing. For example, we learned the hard way when we tried to buy a balloon from a vendor for our girls. So, if you have children, remember that balloon vendors do not accept gift cards. Also, if a vendor doesn’t have a card reader, they won’t be able to process a gift card, so keep that in mind to avoid any bibbidi bobbidi bummers when you go to pay.
If you have multiple Disney gift cards, you might want to consolidate them into one for easier management. You can link up to six cards in your Disney account to check balances, view transaction history, and even transfer funds between cards. It's a great way to keep everything in one place! If interested, visit the
Disney Gift Card site for more details. Just remember, this isn't a mobile wallet.
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions – happy planning!
Christina
