    Is the Disney gift card used like a debit card? Staying at The Dolphin and want to know where to use card. Thanks

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are thrilled to answer your first question!

    I love using Disney Gift Cards when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. They are extremely convenient and accepted at several venues. I usually save money during the months prior to our visits and purchase gift cards instead of using our regular credit cards.

    Disney Gift Cards are accepted at dining and merchandise locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort – theme parks, Disney Springs, and Disney Resort hotels. All you have to do is simply present your card to the Cast Member and your purchase amount will be deducted from the total you have on your gift card. Please note that certain carts and outdoor vendors may not be able to accepted them, so plan to have some cash on you just in case.
