    Can you use a Disney gift card for the TRex Cafe at Disney Springs.

    Hi, Mary!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for sending us another vacation planning question. If you're like me, you've been collecting Disney Gift Cards from select retailers to use toward your vacation. I am here to help you with how to use those gift cards. 

    • Yes! Disney Gift Cards are not "extinct" at T REX™ Cafe in Disney Springs, they are an acceptable form of payment for your prehistoric meals.

    • If you're staying on-property and will be using a MagicBand to pay for other purchases, you can continue to use your MagicBand for convenience and then stop by the front desk of your resort hotel to pay down your account with your Disney Gift Cards. This is such a convenient strategy because it will keep you from having to carry your Gift Cards around while trying to keep track of what card has what amount left for use. In addition, it will allow you to use every penny of the card. So many times, I'd get home from vacation and find cards in my bag I hadn't spent fully; then I'm then having to call in to retrieve balance information. 

    • Not using a MagicBand but have multiple cards? You can combine multiple Disney Gift Cards onto one card! Select the highlighted link for more information on this potential option.
