Hiya, Ethan!
You betcha! I use
Disney Gift Cards to pay for our hotel room every time we stay at the
Disneyland Resort Hotels. When checking out during the
room booking process online, the top of the Payment Information section requests that you fill in credit or debit card information. You can scroll below the credit/debit card fields until you see a ‘+’ sign labeled “Pay with a Disney Gift Card.” Click the ‘+’ to expand the dialog to enter your Disney Gift Card information.
Once you have your deposit paid, you can return to "
My Hotel Reservations" to make additional payments on a Hotel+Theme Park Ticket
Vacation Package by the due date 30 days before your arrival. Or if you have purchased your
theme park tickets separately and have a hotel-only reservation, you can take additional Disney Gift Cards with you on your vacation to pay for the balance of your stay at the hotel front desk. If you are booking a Vacation Package less than 30 days before arrival, you may want to call the Walt Disney Travel Company
Vacation Packages phone line instead of booking online. They should be able to help with transactions involving more than one gift card.
Tony’s Tip: The online booking system allows up to one Disney Gift Card per transaction. If necessary, you may combine multiple gift cards on the
DisneyGiftCard.com website. A single gift card may hold as much as $1000. If you end up with remaining balances on your leftover gift cards, you may use them for purchasing dining and souvenirs at most Disneyland Resort locations. We like to use our Disney Gift Cards to place
mobile food and beverage orders and use
Merchandise Mobile Checkout within the
Disneyland mobile app. I keep a copy of the gift card numbers in a note on my phone that I can easily copy-paste into the app during checkout.
I hope you have a magical stay at the majestic
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Ethan. You are going to love the
many amenities available. And the convenient access to the theme parks can’t be topped!
See ya real soon!
~Tony
