Hi! Welcome to planDisney, Noemi! What an adventure you have coming up on Disney Cruise Line! I'm so excited for you.
Thanks for sailing by to ask this great question about using Disney Gift Cards on your Disney Cruise. My family knows that a Disney Gift Card is always on my wish list, as it's perfect for activating vacation mode for any Disney destination, including a Disney Cruise. So, the short answer to your question is, yes, you absolutely may use gift cards to pay for alcoholic drinks when on a Disney Cruise! And to make life even easier out at sea, I suggest you stop by Guest Services early on in your voyage to apply any gift cards to your onboard account. Then, when you go to enjoy that cocktail, all you have to do is charge the expense to your room and the gift card will automatically be charged, followed by your credit card on file.
Noemi, as we eat, drink, and be merry on our Disney Cruise, one of the many highlights is the
rotational dining. Guests have the opportunity to dine at three different magically themed restaurants onboard, and, depending on the length of the sailing, sometimes more than once. Make sure to take a peek at the special cocktail selection on your menu each evening at dinner, as these cocktails are uniquely chosen to complement the food and theme of the restaurant. I'll toast to that!
Something else that may be fun for my cocktail-loving pal, is for you to join a
Beverage Tasting Seminar while onboard your Disney Cruise. Beverage Tastings fill up quickly, so I would reserve your spot as soon as your
booking window opens, if you're interested. Reservations can be made
on the Disney Cruise Line website after completing full payment for your cruise.
I hope I've been able to answer your question, Noemi, but more than that, I truly hope you have the most magical voyage. If any other questions come up in your planning, please
stop by again! We're always happy to chat about Disney destinations!
Cheers!
McCayla
