Aloha Lisa! Thanks for coming to visit planDisney with your question regarding
Laniwai - A Disney Spa at
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. Aulani Resort is at the very top of my list of favorite Disney destinations; my family stayed there one year ago and I dream of returning soon!
I see that you’ll be traveling to Ko Olina soon; time will fly, and you’ll be enjoying the waves at Aulani Resort in no time! Great news, Lisa, I spoke with an Aulani Resort Cast Member today who confirmed that you are able to use a
Disney Gift Card for payment at Laniwai - A Disney Spa.
How wonderful that you’ll be visiting the incredible Laniwai Spa, there are so many luxurious treatments available for Guests to book. Did you know that Laniwai is home to
Kula Wai, O’ahu’s only outdoor hydrotherapy garden? Guests who purchase any full-service spa treatment have access to this 5,000-square-foot garden retreat with vitality baths, soaking pools, six unique waterfall rain showers, whirlpool jet spas and more. Just thinking about it has me dreaming!
Tip: While you’re visiting Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, be sure to visit the
Pau Hana Room - Community Hall. This game room has so many activities, amenities and amusement for everyone! This is also the place where you can register for daily activities (subject to change), such as the
Menehune Adventure Trail (my family loved completing this at night as it has an extra bit of magic in the dark), make your own Aulani-inspired Mickey Ears, ‘ukulele lessons and Kāpala Ki'i - a t-shirt stamping activity (check the
DVC Member benefits on the
DVC website for possible discounts).
Tip #2: I also highly recommend checking out the
Aulani ‘Iwa. It highlights the week’s events and activities so you can better plan your stay. It lists when and where to meet
Characters, times Guests can feed the fish at
Rainbow Reef and provides info about beach activities you might like to partake in with your family, plus so much more!
Lisa, I hope this information is helpful and that you’re all set for a trip to the line where the sky meets the sea, Aulani Resort is a dream. If you have any further questions about Aulani, please visit
planDisney, we’re your vacation planning ‘ohana.
A Hui Hou (that’s “until we meet again” in Hawaiian),
