Can I use a Disney gift card to pay for my hotel room, park tickets and fast pass ?

    Welcome BACK, Eboney!

Thank you so much for bringing another great Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have good news and I have great news: first off, Yes, absolutely! Disney Gift Cards are accepted as payment for 99.9% of Walt Disney World related activities. From everything that you book before your arrival, like your Disney Resort Hotel room and Disney Theme Park Tickets, to the purchases you make in the parks, like at Disney Dining Locations and in the various shops on souvinEARs. The only place I've ever had issues spending a Disney Gift Card is at the movie theatre in Disney Springs. And Pro Tip: If, for some reason, you do find a location that doesn't accept this method of payment, you can always charge the purchase to your MagicBand and then pay off the band charge with your Disney Gift Card at the front desk of your Disney Resort Hotel. (Just be sure to do this on the same day that you make the charge so it doesn't hit your stored credit card.)

I love paying for our trips with Disney Gift Cards because I can buy a few at a time in the months leading up to our trip. They're sold almost everywhere, like grocery stores, drug stores, and big box stores. Some warehouse stores even sell these cards with slightly more value loaded on them than what you actually end up paying! I do find that it's easier to use a larger number of gift cards when speaking to a Disney Cast Member over the phone, like when paying off my final balance or calling in payments a few months before the final is due. The best number to call for this is (407) 939-1936.

Are you ready for the even better news, Eboney? FastPass+ reservations are included with your Disney Theme Park admission! Each guest in your travel party can make up to three attraction, character or entertainment reservation selections starting up to 30 days before your first Disney Day, or up to 60 days in advance if you stay at a Disney Resort Hotel. Then, once in the parks, after you've redeemed your third selection, you're able to make more reservations one-at-a-time in your My Disney Experience Mobile App. For even more great tips about FastPass+, click here to see what my fellow Moms Panelists have recently shared!

I hope this helped to plan your upcoming Disney Days, Eboney, and if you have any more Walt Disney World Resort questions, We're All Ears!
