Hi Hyland!
Your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up fast! I love using
Disney Gift Cards to pay for our vacations because they are accepted just about everywhere. The eGift Cards are no different. Even though you won't have a physical card, you should have a barcode that can be scanned. I have had an eGift Card that didn't have a barcode and in that case, the Cast Member just typed the card number in and I was good to go.
While there isn't a way to add a gift card to your
MagicBand, you can still charge to your MagicBand and then pay off your Disney Resort hotel room charge account at the front desk using your eGift. This is what I usually do so I can still use my MagicBand for the convenience of charging during the day and then just make a payment at the end of the day using my gift cards.
If you happen to have a physical Disney Gift Card with you, you can combine your eGift Card with the physical Disney Gift Card and use the physical card for your purchases. You can easily transfer balances right online through the
Disney Gift Card website. If you're still feeling a little nervous about using the eGift, you can purchase a physical gift card when you arrive. I believe it's a $15 minimum to activate them and then you can transfer your eGift to your new Disney Gift Card.
Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
