    Can I use a Disney Gift Card to pay for deposit on monthly payments for The Magic Key pass ?

    Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you are just as happy as I am that Magic Keys went on sale again on January 10, 2024. Disney Gift Cards are the best kinds of presents because they can be used for just about everything at Disneyland Resort. I like to save my Disney Gift Cards for the theme parks, where I can use my Magic Key to access discounts on select food and merchandise...talk about more bang for the buck!

    The Magic Key Buying Guide states a Disney Gift Card is an accepted method of payment when making a payment in full for a new Magic Key. Unfortunately, Disney Gift Cards cannot be used in combination with the monthly payment option available to California residents. I suggest saving your Disney Gift Card for your next visit to Disneyland Resort! Depending on the amount of your gift card, you could buy a lot of Daisy's Goody-Goody Donuts at Cafe Daisy or Lobster Nachos at Lamplight Lounge!
