I have great news for you, Shannon: Yes, you can make a payment towards your balance using a Disney Gift Card. If you booked a vacation package directly with Walt Disney World, open your
My Disney Experience account and find the “My Plans and Tickets” section. Look for your upcoming reservation on the page. Select “Make a Payment” and choose the Disney Gift Card as your payment method. (Side note: Room-only reservations can be paid in full with a Disney Gift Card, too, but you’ll have to do it via a phone call with a Disney Cast Member.)
AN EXTRA GEM: Keep your Disney Gift Card handy. Not only can you use it almost everywhere while on Disney property, but you’ll also want to have it in case you make a cancellation. Any payment that came from that gift card will be returned there, so don’t toss it when you’re done. You can also combine and load your cards on the
official Disney Gift Cards website.
