Can you use a disney gift card for mobile orders? If yes, how do you link the gift card to your Disneyland app?

Hey, howdy, hey, Cheryl! Thanks for swinging by planDisney with your question.

The answer is yes! You can use a Disney Gift Card for mobile orders through the Disneyland mobile app, as well as other in-app purchases like Disney Genie+ service.

At this time, you cannot "link" your Disney Gift Card in the app, and will need to enter the number manually at time of purchase. So, what I usually do is type the Disney Gift Card number in my notepad in my phone (from where I can easily cut and paste it) or keep a small piece of paper handy with the Disney Gift Card number written down. This helps me access it easily when I need to enter the Disney Gift Card number when making purchases in the app.

I truly love mobile ordering. One of my favorite mobile ordering snacks is the Mickey-shaped Beignets from Mint Julep Bar. They are soft, warm, and perfectly coated in powdered sugar! I aim to place mobile orders when I’m in a queue for an attraction, so our snack is ready for us once we’re done.

    Happy Disney snacking, Cheryl!
