Hi there, Robin, and welcome to planDisney!
I rarely go to Walt Disney World without a Disney Gift Card. It’s the practically perfect Disney property companion. Not only can you use them in the theme parks, but you can use them at Disney Springs, the Resort hotels, and the water parks. There are few spots and activities onsite that do not accept them.
I’ve only ever golfed at
Fantasia Gardens mini golf, but I did some digging to get an accurate answer for you. Thanks to a helpful Cast Member and my planDisney friend
Jeremy, who is an avid golfer, here is what I’ve discovered: Fortunately, Disney Gift Cards are accepted as a form of payment to book tee times and to use while at all golf courses at Disney World. While you definitely need a credit card to
reserve a tee time online or on the phone, you can pay for your round using a Disney Gift Card once you’re there. You can also use the golf courses’ official gift cards as payment. You can find these on the Walt Disney World Golf website that I linked above, and look for the Merchandise page.
I am so happy that I could give you good news today, Robin. If you’re searching for an entire list of the
golfing activities around Disney World, check out the official Walt Disney World website. You’ll find that beyond the traditional courses, there are options like mini golf and even one-on-one golf lessons, too.
AN EXTRA GEM: You’ll love that Disney Gift Cards never expire and can sometimes be found at a discount at stores near you. You can combine multiple Disney Gift Cards up to $1,000. You can do this on the
Disney Gift Card website. I find this to be super convenient when I’m exploring Disney World.
Robin, have the most amazing time hitting the links on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other Disney vacation planning questions, don’t hesitate to
give us a holler here at planDisney!
Magic always,
LeAndra
