Can you use a Disney Gift Card at the Driod Depot. My son wants to make a Driod when we go to Disneyland this summer and thought maybe we would get him gift cards for his bday to go towards the purchase. Thanks.

    Bright suns, Cheri!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for bringing your question our way!

Building a droid at Droid Depot is an important right of passage on the Planet of Batuu. I can't think of a better birthday present for your son! Because this experience is so popular, reservations are highly recommended.

A credit card is required when making a reservation. The credit card provided at the time of reservation will be charged if you fail to cancel in a timely manner and are a no-show. Because you will not be charged prior to your arrival at the Droid Depot, you may use a Disney Gift Card to pay for your droid. If you prefer not to make a reservation in advance, Droid Depot is able to accommodate a limited number of walk-ins daily, subject to availability.

While you’re in a Galaxy Far Far Away, try the Blue and Green Milk at the Milk Stand. Then, pilot the Millennium Falcon and join the Resistance in an epic battle against the First Order. And don’t forget to sample the local cuisine! My favorite is the Felucian Kefta & Hummus Garden Spread from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo!

Enjoy watching your son assemble a custom astromech droid unit! Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with future questions! We’re all EARS!

    Til the Spire!
