Hi Ashley,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with a question!
As a member of the
Annual Passholder family, I am always happy to greet another member or soon to be member of the annual passholder family! When I spoke with cast members, they advised that you contact them directly through the
V.I Passholder Support Line. They did say that you should be able to use a gift card for the down payment but you may need to do so in person at Guest Relations. If you have not already done so, be sure to also review the details for
Florida Resident Annual Passes.
If you are new to the annual passholder family, I am so excited for you! Once you have that annual pass, be sure to review the
discounts on select merchandise, dining, and experiences. We love to use the discount and are now much better about remembering to use it! I especially appreciate it when we book
Enchanting Extras Collection experiences and can use it and, when we can use a
Special Offer for annual passholders trying to book
Disney Resorts Collection hotel stays. I always recommend staying at least one or two nights in a Disney resort hotel. Take the time to enjoy the magic!
Once you have that annual pass, be sure to check the
Admissions Calendar paying attention to dates that are blocked out for your pass type. Since we are Disney Vacation Club members, in the past, I have purchased the Sorcerer Pass and I know that it has days that are blocked out for admission. Becoming an annual passholder has been such a good value. This past June, I was able to take advantage of the
Passholder Preview days for Tiana's Bayou Adventure. It was such a special experience!
Ashley, sending a wish to the Evening Star trusting that you will get that annual pass purchased. One final tip - when you do call the V.I Passholder support line, talk with a cast member about possibly taking that gift card payment over the phone. Magic happens daily at the Walt Disney World® Resort. If they truly cannot take it, then just make plans to visit!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
