    Do you still get a Disney gift card for declining housekeeping?

    Hi Andrew!

    Hooray and yay! In mere days you will be in sight of the castle! Your Walt Disney World vacation is almost here!

    Light housekeeping is typically performed every other day of your stay at a Walt Disney World Resort. Fresh towels are added, trash is emptied, and if needed a few tasks like vacuuming and wiping down the bathroom counter are performed. Before the parks were closed, the Service Your Way program offered a Disney gift card in exchange for forgoing housekeeping at value and moderate resorts. This program has not been reinstated. You may still opt out of housekeeping during online check in, but no gift card is given in exchange.
