Can we use a Disney gift card at check-in at our hotel (as well as our credit card)? That way they use the Disney card on file and charge the balance to the credit card or do we have to hold gift cards to settle up at the end?

    Hello Julie!
Disney Gift Cards are a great way to save and budget for Disney travel. I have a few sitting on my desk awaiting our trip next month. In my experience, you will need to hold on to your Disney Gift Cards and use them to settle your account. I typically go down to the desk the night before check-out to apply our gift cards. If there is any balance left on your account, you can simply have it applied to your credit card on file or pay cash.

If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel- we love to help!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
