Has the Disney genie service started yet? Also is there a way to enroll in the das program pre arrival yet?

    Hello Zackary!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question for us.

How exciting that your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth starts so very soon! And you have impeccable timing, as the Disney Parks Blog just announced that the Disney Genie service is launching October 19th at Walt Disney World Resort!

The Disney Genie service will be available for all Guests through their My Disney Experience Mobile app and offers complimentary features that help Guests create the ideal personalized itinerary! Simply choose the options you prefer, and the service will then map out your day and will be sure to include the experiences you love.

Along with this, the Disney Genie+ service will be available for purchase with an introduction to the Lightning Lane entrance. Guests will be able to purchase the Disney Genie+ to add from the 40+ attractions throughout the parks by selecting an arrival window for Lightning Lane entrances one at a time throughout the day. Aside from this, Guests will also be able to purchase individual Lightning Lane selections of up to 2 attractions a day for highly sought-after attractions for a fee. Please check out the Lightning Lane page for pricing information.

I’m so grateful for programs such as the Disability Access Service (DAS). Soon, Guests will be able to sign up for the Disability Access Service (DAS) program virtually by speaking with a Cast Member via a live video chat. Once this is offered, it can be done up to 30 days prior to the beginning of your trip. Guests will then be able to prebook up to two experiences as long as it’s at least two days before they are to be redeemed. Of course, same-day DAS return time selection will also be available.

For now, Guests are able to sign up for their DAS pass at any of the Guest Relations locations at all the theme parks. They will only need to register for it on the first day of their vacation, and it will be valid for 60 days. I would encourage you to keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog for when the registration for this service becomes available virtually.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Zackary. Have an enchanting visit.
