    How can I use the Disney Genie + if my phone is no longer compatible with the latest version of the app? I don't even have an old phone.

    Stephanie, thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

    Genie+ is an optional service for Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort. Using Genie+, Guests will have access to Lightning Lanes, which allow Guests to enjoy shorter wait times for a select number of attractions. Additionally, Genie+ comes with free PhotoPass downloads.

    As I shared before, the service is optional, but if you would like to still enjoy the perks of Genie+, you have other options besides using your own mobile device. Guests can link multiple tickets to a single Disneyland Mobile App account. If there is someone else in your party with a compatible phone, they can add your ticket to their account, purchase Genie+ for you, and book Lightning Lanes on your behalf. In fact, linking tickets to just one account makes enjoying the day easier than everyone managing Genie+ Lightning Lane reservations individually. 

    Have fun during your trip in April. And I hope while you're at the Happiest Place on Earth, that you have plenty of time to eat your way through the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, hosted from March 4 through April 26, 2022.
